Job summary

AVI-SPL in Freeport, TX seeks an Onsite Support Technician to partner with customers and internal teams to deliver on-site AV support and a world-class service experience.

You will set up conference spaces, perform maintenance, troubleshoot A/V systems, travel to client sites, and provide end-user training while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in AV/videoconferencing support, a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and proficiency with MS Office and Teams.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One to three years' experience in AV/videoconferencing support.
• Installation and Audio-Visual experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of conference spaces.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Provide timely and quality support tasks.
• Field service support of network devices.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Set up and troubleshoot A/V systems.
• Provide documentation and end-user training.
• Monitor consumables and ensure replacement orders.
• Support Corporate Video Events.
• Create, review and update incoming Tririga and ServiceNow cases for the Freeport AV team.
