Job summary

Diversified is seeking an Audio-Visual Support Services Technician to provide day-to-day AV support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable meeting room and event experiences. The role requires on-site hours Monday through Friday, with overtime based on meeting and event needs, and offers education support for certifications.

You will work on complex AV systems, coordinate with IT and facilities, and support executive meetings and special events.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in enterprise level AV support.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting complex AV systems and strong knowledge of equipment rack wiring standards and event best practices.
• Experience with major manufacturers including QSC, Crestron, Cisco, Microsoft, Biamp, Shure, and/or Poly.
• Ability to stand, kneel and crouch for long periods.
• Ability to work in high places as well as small, cramped spaces.
• Ability to work in hot, humid and cold environments.
• Ability to use hand/power tools, ladders and safety equipment.
• Lift/maneuver up to 75 lbs and traverse various work areas.
• Reliable attendance and ability to arrive on time when commuting.
• Must pass a background screen and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot AV/technology systems.
• Support executive meetings with setup, monitoring and live troubleshooting.
• Interact with client executives in a professional manner.
• Communicate AV issues clearly to clients.
• Assist with client escalations and analysis requests.
• Respond to incidents and service requests.
• Configure and restore AV services.
• Support Teams Room operations.
• Conduct equipment health checks and room readiness inspections.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities and vendors as required.
• Escalate OEM/vendor issues when needed.
• Maintain incident records and resolutions.
• Support meetings and events as required.
• Assist content management for immersive displays and signage.
• Validate functionality after repairs or updates.
