Job summary
Innovation Associates, Inc. is seeking a Systems Manager to lead on-site automation initiatives at a Boston facility. You will oversee installation, troubleshooting, and daily operations of advanced pharmacy fulfillment equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance.
The role requires 3+ years in automation, strong communication, and PM experience. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday with potential travel.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in the automation industry (robotics, conveyance systems, or related).
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience with high voltage troubleshooting and multimeter use.
- 1+ year of project management experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 12 weeks during onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and optimize efficiency on-site.
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues for timely resolution.
- Manage and track spare parts inventory with site staff.
- Provide after-hours remote support as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to resolve issues.
- Analyze data and conduct periodic performance reviews with staff.
- Lead site meetings to review equipment status and operations.
- Process returns and RMAs as required.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
- Adhere to SOPs and safety protocols for all activities.
