Job summary

The Toro Company in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on Automation & Robotics Engineer to design, install, program, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems. You will work with ABB and FANUC robots, PLCs, and Rockwell software to keep production safe, efficient, and reliable.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, support preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams to return equipment to service quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate or technical degree in automation/controls required.
• Three+ years plant automation systems and controls experience.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation, robotics, controls, or related manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems.
• Program and troubleshoot robotic systems (ABB and FANUC).
• Configure and troubleshoot PLCs, motor drives, and digital electronics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support vision systems and sensors.
• Read electrical/electronic schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings.
