Qualifications

5+ years of experience working with automation equipment and systems.
Experience with PLC programming and industrial controls.
Strong understanding of automation, machine design, robotics, or manufacturing systems.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Design custom automation equipment, machine retrofits, robotic work cells, and end-of-arm tooling using SolidWorks.
Create detailed drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials.
Design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
Support machine builds, testing, and implementation.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and robotics within manufacturing environments.
Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning and startup.
