IntePros seeks an Automation Engineer I to join its Pittsburgh site, supporting biomanufacturing automation projects on a hands-on team. The role focuses on designing, configuring, testing and maintaining systems that control manufacturing equipment and collect process data.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering and 1–2 years in automation or controls, with willingness to work onsite in an industrial environment and learn GMP-relevant practices from senior engineers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years in automation, controls, or systems engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and control loops.
• Experience reading electrical diagrams and troubleshooting hardware.
• Willingness to work onsite in an industrial environment.

Aufgaben

• Support automation projects through design, development, testing and maintenance.
• Configure and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA and historian systems.
• Support Rockwell/AB and Siemens control platforms.
• Read electrical drawings and maintain control-loop documentation.
• Develop test plans and ensure systems remain validated.
• Create SOPs and technical documentation for regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Validation to meet regulatory requirements.
