Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer for an onsite, temporary full-time role at our client site in San Rafael, CA. The AT-O will support an occupational medicine program, promote health, and assist with injury prevention and return-to-work activities.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, current First Aid/CPR, and at least 1 year of athletic trainer experience in onsite settings; schedule includes early shifts, with healthcare-focused responsibilities and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable: Yes

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and evaluate injuries per standing orders.
• Identify, evaluate, and refer injuries to clinicians for best care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in managing Workers' Compensation cases and RTW processes.
• Collaborate with client HR and management on RTW job placement.
• Perform ergonomic job analyses and injury prevention programs.
• Create pre-shift preventative activity programs and monitor compliance.
• Maintain patient care records and write reports.
