Job summary

Insight is seeking an Associate Engineer to install, modify, repair, test and service systems and equipment onsite at our Fort Worth, TX office. You will work on hardware, software configuration, cabling, and networks, servicing internal teammates and clients on site.

You will perform repairs, install/test hardware at customer sites, complete service documentation, identify hardware problems and pursue growth opportunities with AmbITious career advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university or 3-4 years related experience and/or training.
• LANs, WANs, Personal Computers, messaging and server software applications experience required.
• Cable plants, network services, email, bulletin boards, and CD-ROM libraries needed.
• Ability to automate tasks using basic scripting techniques required.

Responsibilities

• Performs hardware and peripheral repairs and identifies problems for efficient resolution.
• Installs and tests system hardware at customer site and follows special instructions.
• Completes service-call documentation for accurate billing and returns.
• Identify system hardware problems and determine cost-effective fixes.
