Job summary

The Strand Apartments in Oviedo, FL is looking for a full-time Assistant Property Manager to lead leasing and marketing efforts at the property. This role trains on-site staff, coordinates resident relations, and supports property goals in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain records, ensure timely rent collection, and supervise make-ready progress while delivering excellent customer service to residents. The position includes benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate integrity and adhere to policies and laws.
• Interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient PC skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and community software.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates highest standards of integrity and adherence to policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Improves living experience by ensuring first/last impressions are positive.
• Handles resident concerns with a customer-service driven approach.
• Communicates events causing disruption to tenants; conducts inspections and move-in/out courtesy calls.
• Utilizes marketing strategies to secure prospective residents and completes paperwork.
• Works with leasing team to achieve property goals and analyzes traffic/renewals.
• Understands financial goals and manages assets in owners’ best interests.
• Maintains records of all transactions (rent rolls, delinquencies, move-ins/outs).
• Ensures rents, late fees, and charges are collected and posted timely.
• Maintains community appearance and coordinates repairs with maintenance.
• Updates make-ready boards daily and verifies status.
• Assists Property Manager with training and on-site staff development.
• Performs other duties as assigned
