Job summary

Mutual Housing Management in Sacramento seeks an Assistant Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across three properties (Glen Ellen, Greenway, Lemon Hill), focusing on resident satisfaction, waitlist management, and maintenance coordination.

You will ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and all affordable housing requirements; on-site housing is included with compensation from $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing programs (HUD/LIHTC) preferred.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager with daily operations and resident relations.
• Collect rents, process receivables, and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Help prepare annual budgets and monitor operating performance.
• Coordinate maintenance requests, unit turns, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain resident files and Yardi data.
• Assist with applicant intake, waitlist management, marketing, and occupancy goals.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Travel between sites as needed.
