Job summary

Mutual Housing Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Sacramento, CA. You will work closely with the Property Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure resident satisfaction, manage wait-lists and leasing, and coordinate maintenance to uphold quality and compliance with program guidelines.

You will assist in financial, administrative, and marketing tasks while maintaining occupancy and adhering to ADA/FHAA standards and property policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations alongside Property Manager
• Ensure resident satisfaction and manage wait-lists and leasing
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure compliance with standards and funders' requirements
• Assist in financial processes: rent collection, monthly reporting, and budget adherence
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and perform safety inspections
• Maintain ADA and FHAA compliance and document deficiencies
• Maintain records, safety plans, key control, and timely reporting
• Support marketing activities: weekly rental reports and rent comparability studies
• Aim to maximize occupancy and minimize vacancy losses
