Software Placement Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a Naples-area project, focusing on cost, schedule, subcontracts, and owner reporting on heavy civil highway work.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and field team to plan resources, track budgets, and ensure compliance with drawings and regulations. This role offers growth potential within a stable Florida contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Construction Science or Eng/Arch with business training.
• 5+ years assisting or supervising complex construction work.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities under pressure.
• Full-time onsite in Naples, FL.
• Based in Southwest Florida or willing to relocate to the Naples area.

Responsibilities

• Plan cost, resources, and schedule for the project
• Administer subcontracts and manage subcontractor performance
• Coordinate workers, materials, and equipment with the field team
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and regulations for the team
• Handle contracts, permits, and licenses
• Supervise assistant managers and engineers and review their reports
• Correct safety issues on the job and support the safety program
• Control the budget and maintain the schedule
• Report progress to owners, engineers, and architects
