Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Automation Lead – Manufacturing Assembly & Test Process (US Region) to champion the strategy, design, and deployment of advanced automation across U.S. sites, including Salisbury, NC.

Expect up to 50% travel domestically with relocation assistance and a signing bonus. You will drive the automation roadmap, oversee a transition from manual to full automation, and lead ROI-driven automation initiatives to boost quality, safety, and efficiency across high-volume production

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in manufacturing automation/assembly automation.
Experience implementing automated assembly lines in high-volume manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of robotics, PLCs, vision systems, and automation controls.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year automation roadmap for manufacturing growth.
Lead the transition from manual to automated processes (manual → semi auto → full auto).
Identify ROI-driven automation opportunities to improve labor efficiency, cycle time, throughput and quality.
Design, develop and deploy automated assembly lines for high-volume manufacturing; lead integration efforts.
