Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Onsite Assembly Technician to build electrical and mechanical components across product lines, following safety standards, blueprints and work instructions.

You will prepare, process, assemble, test, inspect, and package parts, record process data, meet cycle times, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring on-time, accurate shipments. Shift: Mon-Fri 5:00am-1:30pm; OT as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, clean, install, assemble, rework, verify, test, and/or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, subassemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines
• Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
• Follow production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times
• Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
• Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement, participating in safety and preventative maintenance programs, strives for cost reduction, and commits to on time, complete, and error free shipments.
• Assembles cartons and containers and prepares products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international and/or customer specifications.
• Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area.
• Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.
