Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc is seeking on-site interpreters in the Washington, DC area under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager. Candidate must be fluent in American Sign Language and spoken English, with accurate interpreting skills and a thorough understanding of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Part-Time/Flex interpreters are eligible for a robust benefits package and flexible scheduling; travel to various customer locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpreting skills expected.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.
• State licensure or credentials as applicable.
