Job summary

Purple Communications, Inc. is seeking part-time/flex interpreters to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpretation onsite at various customer locations. Interpreters must be fluent in ASL and spoken English, accurate in interpretation, and adhere to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Training and ongoing development opportunities are provided. The role requires travel to client sites as needed, and eligibility includes a comprehensive benefits suite through ZP Perks for

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Good understanding of Deaf culture.
• NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct knowledge.
• Three to five years of interpreting experience preferred.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective onsite interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful, professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts, collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, and keep timely, accurate records.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Participate in company-sponsored Professional Development training.
• Travel as required; access to a vehicle and valid driver's license and insurance.
