Job summary

Highway is seeking an Application Operations Assistant Manager in Dallas, TX. This onsite role reports to the Operations Manager and involves monitoring onboarding processes, securing identity verification, and leading a high-volume carrier support team.

The role requires coordinating application operations to minimize downtime, address escalations, and push fixes for a secure, efficient onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an Application Operations team for a software company preferred.
• Technical aptitude and analytical problem solving skills required.
• Familiarity with Active Admin for Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with SQL and/or Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in fast-paced environments.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask under deadline pressure.
• Comfort directing a support team on escalations and fixes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor onboarding flow and serve as escalation point to ensure security and optimal application functioning.
• Oversee carrier identity verification, user authentication, and authority to prevent fraud.
• Provide oversight to the Carrier support team handling high volumes of tickets and calls; review response times and escalated cases.
• Maintain application health through monitoring, analysis, and timely onboard completion.
• Suggest updates to address bugs and ensure accurate operation of the application.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide individual user solutions within Highway’s app.
• Demonstrate responsiveness in internal and external communications while managing multiple priorities.
• Collaborate with team members to serve customers effectively.
