Job summary

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Manager of Annual Giving for our partner, a mission-driven educational institution, 100% onsite in Fork Union, Virginia. The role leads a comprehensive annual giving program during an organizational transition and manages donor relationships across individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.

This full-time, temporary/fixed-term assignment offers $30.00-$32.00 per hour with a 40-hour workweek and potential longer-term employment,

Qualifications

• Fundraising and annual giving experience.
• Proven donor relations and portfolio management skills.
• Grant writing/management knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and project management.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Fork Union, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual giving strategies focused on donor retention and increased giving.
• Manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with a strong pipeline.
• Coordinate opportunities across scholarships, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Research grant opportunities and manage the grant lifecycle and reporting.
• Lead donor communications, stewardship, and fundraising activities with senior leadership.
• Maintain donor records and collaborate with Finance on reconciliation and compliance.
