Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking an Analysis Engineer to troubleshoot production line rejects in power modules, IPMs, and inverters. You will perform hands-on testing, document findings, and communicate results to internal stakeholders and customers.

The role supports corrective actions including equipment improvements and will be fully onsite at our large manufacturing facility. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, automotive experience, and strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (EE/EET or ME/MET preferred).
• Automotive field experience desired; experience with Japanese companies valued.
• Adept at problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of measurement technologies such as SEM, FTIR, electrical test equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interdepartmental and customer interactions.
• Experience with PowerPoint and Excel; analytical software knowledge.
• Willing to travel overseas for training as early as fall 2026, 2–4 months in Japan.

Responsibilities

• Work within the analysis team performing analysis of automotive EV products: 60%.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and quality documentation: 20%.
• Review manufacturing processes for improvement as related to analysis results: 10%.
• Other duties as assigned: 10%.
