Job summary

ASTEMO INDIANA, INC. is seeking an Analysis Engineer to troubleshoot and perform root-cause analyses on production rejects in power modules, IPMs, and inverters. You will conduct hands-on testing, document results, and communicate findings to internal teams and customers.

This onsite role supports our large-scale manufacturing facility with cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in engineering, has automotive exposure, and is proficient in analysis tools and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; EE/EET or ME/MET preferred.
• Automotive experience desirable; work within Japanese company highly desired.
• Adept at problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of measurement technologies (SEM, FTIR, electrical tests).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication for interdepartmental and vendor communication.
• Proficient with PowerPoint and Excel; capable of presenting data.
• Willing to travel overseas for training (Fall 2026) and annually; Japan travel may be 2–4 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze automotive EV product rejects and perform root-cause investigations.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and quality documentation.
• Review manufacturing processes for improvements related to analysis results.
• Contribute to corrective actions and equipment improvements.
