Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization, responsible for the design, test, manufacture, and mission support of advanced electrical subsystems in extreme battlefield environments.

You will design, simulate, analyze, and test analog electronics, high-efficiency power conversion, power distribution, and precision servo/motor control systems. Travel to Marlborough, MA and Tewksbury, MA facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline (degree by start date).
• Experience or coursework in analog electronics, power electronics, power systems, or control systems.
• Experience simulating or modeling electrical circuits using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent.
• Experience communicating technical concepts via design specs, reports or schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry and power sub-system architectures.
• Develop precision control systems, including servo control loops and motor drives.
• Architect and design flight termination/telemetry systems with data acquisition and RF transmitters.
• Model power system dynamics and EMI using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software and reliability engineers to meet specs.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and test procedures.
