Job summary

Raytheon in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Hardware Electrical Engineer to design, test, and support advanced electrical subsystems for battlefield environments. You will work on analog electronics, power conversion topologies, and precision servo/motor control, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include design, analysis, simulation, and lab integration from requirements through production support. Occasional travel to local facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field. Degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience or coursework in Analog Electronics, Power Electronics, Power Systems, or Control Systems.
• Experience with circuit/systems simulations using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts via design docs, reports, or presentations.
• Experience via work, studies, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry, power conversion modules, and power sub-system architectures.
• Develop precision control systems, including servo control loops and motor drives.
• Architect flight termination/telemetry systems with ADC/DAC, data acquisition, encoders, and RF transmitters.
• Model power system dynamics, EMI, harmonics using PSPICE/LTspice/MATLAB/Simulink.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to meet specs and milestones.
• Prepare schematics, design review data, test procedures, and trade studies.
