Job summary

Accommodations Plus International (API) is seeking an Airline Support Specialist to be onsite with our airline partner in Honolulu. You will process hotel and ground transportation reservations and build strong relationships with our partner while delivering professional, courteous service.

This full-time role requires a flexible 4-day, 10-hour schedule including weekends and holidays. Experience in airline/hotel/travel sectors and proficiency with reservation systems, plus strong written

Qualifications

• Ability to positively present API in customer facing situations.
• Customer service background is a plus.
• Airline/Hotel/Travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as API’s on-site liaison with the airline partner, providing support, guidance and training.
• Process client requests received from the airline through the API Operations system.
• Follow-up on all client requests and transactions. Ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Alert supervisor on items of critical nature requiring management involvement.
• Negotiate with vendors (Hotels, Ground Transportation, others) to achieve best outcome for client and API.
• Resolve client disagreements calmly and professionally; present solutions based on facts.
• Utilize reservation systems (ACES, Hotel Express, IHRS) to track and fulfill client needs.
• Adapt to irregular operations (IROPS) and be on-call outside regular hours.
• Learn API’s call center methodology and maintain currency through recurrent training.
