Job summary

Accommodations Plus International (API) seeks an Airline Support Specialist to join our on-site team in Long Island City, NY. The role coordinates hotel and ground transportation for airline partners, delivering professional, courteous service and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will use reservation systems and communication tools to process requests, adapt to irregular ops, and ensure timely, accurate responses.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service experience in travel, airline, or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-site liaison with airline partner, providing support and training.
Process client hotel and ground transportation requests via API operations system.
Follow up on all client requests to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution.
Alert supervisor to issues requiring management involvement.
Negociate with vendors to achieve best outcomes for client and API.
Use call center tools and reservation systems to track and resolve requests.
Adapt to irregular operations and on-call requirements as needed.
Maintain knowledge of API call center methodologies and systems.
