Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an on-site Field Service Technician to support a Formova AGV system in Flint, MI. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of AGV hardware and systems at the customer site.

You will collaborate with Customer AGV Leads, perform start-ups for new or modified systems, and provide on-call support for outages while staying current with the latest AGV designs and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on the AGV fleet
• Diagnose and repair vehicle and system issues
• Assist upgrades/retrofits requiring vehicle modifications
• Assist with AGV component repairs
• Monitor on-site parts inventory and orders
• Provide AGV systems operations support for new/modified systems and start-ups
• Collaborate with Customer AGV Leads on training and troubleshooting
• Provide on-call support for outages
