Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an on-site technical support specialist to service the Formova AGV System located in Flint, MI. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and ensuring system functionality for a fleet of AGVs.

The ideal candidate will live in or near Flint, MI, work at customer sites, and respond to on-call needs for critical outages. We emphasize collaboration with customer leads and staying current with Formova equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for vehicle and system components.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on an on-site fleet.

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance for the AGV fleet.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle and system issues.
• Assist with upgrades/retrofits requiring vehicle modifications.
• Support AGV component repairs when needed.
• Monitor on-site parts inventory and orders.
• Provide AGV systems operations support for new/modified systems.
