Job summary

JBT Marel, located in Columbus, OH, is seeking an on-site AGV technician to provide full-time support for a Formova AGV System. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on the AGV fleet to ensure reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include scheduled maintenance, on-call support, upgrades, inventory management, and collaboration with customer leads. Local residency is required; travel is rare. Safety and professionalism are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• The incumbent must stay current with the latest designs, features and equipment.
• Candidates must live in or near the Columbus, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance services as well as on-call maintenance for the fleet of JBT AGVs currently in operation
• Diagnose and repair vehicle and vehicle/system related issues
• Assist in upgrades/retrofits requiring vehicle modifications
• Assist with AGV component repairs when/if necessary
• Monitor and maintain on-site parts inventory and parts orders
• Provide AGV systems operations support for new / modified systems and start-ups
• Work closely with Customer AGV Leads as it relates to training, troubleshooting, and meetings as needed.
• Provide on call support for critical business impacting outages
