Job summary

JBT Marel in Columbus, OH is seeking a full-time on-site technical specialist to provide maintenance, diagnostics, and operations support for Formova AGV systems. The role includes troubleshooting, hardware repairs, and collaboration with customer leads to ensure system uptime.

The position requires hands-on experience with AGV fleets, responsiveness to on-call situations, and collaboration across a global team to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance services as well as on-call maintenance for the fleet of JBT AGVs currently in operation
• Diagnose and repair vehicle and vehicle/system related issues
• Assist in upgrades/retrofits requiring vehicle modifications
• Assist with AGV component repairs when/if necessary
• Monitor and maintain on-site parts inventory and parts orders
• Provide AGV systems operations support for new / modified systems and start-ups
• Work closely with Customer AGV Leads as it relates to training, troubleshooting, and meetings as needed.
• Provide on call support for critical business impacting outages
