Job summary

Bowhead seeks an Agile Project Manager to join our team supporting our MITSM customer in Stafford, VA. This position is 100% onsite at the customer facility in Stafford, VA.

The role will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams, monitor metrics, and coordinate cross‑functional activities to deliver programs on time. Candidates should have 5+ years in Agile coaching or PM, Jira/Confluence, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, AA, or BA/BS with progressively responsible PM/Agile experience.
• 5+ years in Agile coaching, project management, or business analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban; backlog tracking and metrics.
• Experience with Jira, backlog tracking, sprint planning, and reports.
• PM/Agile certifications (PMP, CSM) are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily scrums, planning, reviews, retros) and apply Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban.
• Coach teams on Agile practices and promote continuous improvement.
• Monitor and report Agile metrics for transparency and alignment.
• Coordinate program activities across multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Prepare agendas, document meeting minutes, track actions, and follow up.
• Collaborate with project officers to monitor progress and dependencies.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Maintain program documentation and artifacts (status reports, logs).
• Leverage Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence to support workflows.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and resolve conflicts.
