Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the facility's financial operations and partner with site leadership to ensure accurate reporting, GAAP compliance, and meaningful analysis.

You will manage general accounting, fixed assets, monthly closes, and cost accounting while collaborating with Operations, Purchasing, IT, and Corporate Finance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in publicly traded manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and drive improvement.
• CPA or designation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions and prepare financial reports using Oracle ERP.
• Coordinate fixed assets, depreciation, and reporting for audits.
• Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with Controller.
• Perform financial analysis of P&L and balance sheet; present findings.
• Provide real-time visibility into departmental and manufacturing performance.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and timely issue resolution.
• Analyze statements for discrepancies and trends; notify Controller.
• Partner with Purchasing and other teams on capital projects and ROI.
• Support year-end close, inventory counts, and cost roll.
• Produce KPI reports for executive management; assist audits.
