Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance Team at our plant in Chittenango, New York. The role supports the site controller with month-end close, forecasting, and cost accounting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of manufacturing accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and ERP system expertise (Oracle/SAP). CPP offers growth, a bonus program, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–4 years of direct manufacturing accounting experience.
• In-depth understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing costing.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist site controller with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Support month-end close with shared services.
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collections.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Assist in annual standard cost updates and inventory valuation.
• Assist in preparing for external audit.
• Ensure policies are understood and applied.
