Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp (CPP) is seeking a Staff Accountant for its aerospace manufacturing operation in New York. The role reports to the Site Controller and supports month-end close, cost accounting, and inventories in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 3–4 years of manufacturing accounting experience, with strong cost accounting knowledge and ERP proficiency (Oracle/SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–4 years of direct experience in accounting in a manufacturing environment, aerospace preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing costing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, FASB standards and internal controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP).

Responsibilities

• Work with site controller and finance teams on ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Assist month-end close with financial accounting shared services.
• Prepare and update weekly cash forecasts.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and coordinate collections.
• Prepare reconciliations and assist in annual standard cost updates.
• Support annual external audit activities and respond to inquiries.
