Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Receiving Inspector to inspect incoming materials, components, and documentation ensuring adherence to PO requirements, drawings, and quality standards. The role prevents nonconforming material from entering production and ensures on-time, quality flow.

You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, use precision measuring instruments, and follow approved data to determine pass/fail results, while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining inspection

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gages
• Use fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results
• Compute pass/fail results based on tolerances
• Follow Work Instructions and inspection procedures
• Arrange for repair or calibration of measuring equipment when needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain Inspection stamp
• Manage multiple priorities and overtime as needed
