Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform inline inspection of repaired electronic components and ensure workmanship and documentation meet customer requirements for airworthiness.

The role requires an HS diploma with 2 years of inspection experience, or 4 years without a diploma, and familiarity with quality inspection principles. Preferred FAA 8130 familiarity, SAP/ERP, blueprints, soldering and an A&P license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Or 4 years of relevant experience in the absence of HS diploma.
• Familiarity with principles of Quality Inspection.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rework and assembly, and solder components per IPC-A-610 and J-STD.
• Read and interpret customer flow-down, PO, and technical documentation.
• Read service bulletins and engineering prints for conformance.
• Generate ARC or Certificates of Conformance for authorities/customers.
• Record keeping and ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Review work orders for accuracy and conformance to specs.
