Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in Playa Vista, CA, is hiring a Receiving Inspector for its Spacecraft supply chain.

You will inspect inbound flight electronics hardware, verify accompanying documentation, and record results in our ERP system to ensure readiness for inventory and production. The role collaborates with Supplier Quality, Materials Management, and Production to maintain traceability and quality for flight hardware.

Qualifications

• Inspect flight electronics hardware and accompanying documentation.
• Record inspection results in ERP/MRP system.
• Identify non-conformances and track in system.
• Ensure traceability of flight hardware through receiving.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Materials Management and Production.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound materials focused on electronics and EEE.
• Perform visual and workmanship inspections on PCBA, harnesses, connectors, cables.
• Review and verify documentation delivered with hardware (C of C, packing lists, inspection reports).
• Identify, document, and track non-conformances and discrepancies in ERP system.
• Ensure proper traceability and handling of flight hardware through the receiving process.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy as needed.
• Develop and continuously improve receiving inspection practices.
• Assist with training or mentoring less experienced inspectors.
• Pick, move, and deliver inspected parts into inventory or to production.
