Job summary

Align Aerospace is seeking an Aerospace Quality Receiving Inspector in Chatsworth, CA. You will inspect incoming hardware with precision tools, read blueprints, verify certifications, and document traceability in SAP and quality systems.

You will decide acceptance, stop nonconforming material, and partner across teams to keep product flowing. The role offers a path to advanced quality positions, exposure to FAIs and audits, and a hands-on environment that directly impacts aircraft safety and

Qualifications

2-3 years of hands-on inspection experience (aerospace, manufacturing, medical, or similar).
Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
Ability to read or quickly improve in blueprints/drawings.
Strong attention to detail and confidence in decisions.
Comfort working in systems (ERP, Excel, inspection logs).

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming aerospace hardware using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Verify certifications, COCs, and traceability.
Make accept/reject decisions impacting quality and customer trust.
Identify nonconforming material and stop it from moving forward.
Work in SAP and quality systems to document everything clearly.
Collaborate with warehouse, quality, and operations teams.
