Job summary

Barnes Aerospace is seeking a Customer Service Manager to join the Global Commercial and Customer Service Team at the East Granby site. You will be the main customer contact, ensuring timely updates and execution of commercial commitments, while leading a high-performing team.

Based onsite in East Granby, CT, you will manage escalations, contract closeout, and post-sales activities, with responsibilities spanning export compliance, pricing coordination, and data integrity in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing roles in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Excellent interpersonal and service recovery skills.
• Strong CRM skills and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site's primary point of contact for customer communication/escalations post-deal.
• Oversee backlog review, order entry, and customer scorecard management.
• Support contract closeout and post-sales follow-up activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer site communications and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and lead visits/audits.
• Disseminate contract requirements and terms to functional areas.
• Review daily activities of the Customer Service Analyst and coordinate pricing changes.
• Maintain standard work practices for consistency and compliance.
• Lead export compliance activities and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop and coach a high-performing customer service team; conduct regular 1:1 coaching.
• Administer export activity and ensure quoting includes compliance considerations.
• Communicate site dashboard metrics clearly in internal/external reports.
• Oversee end-to-end proposal management and Salesforce data integrity.
