Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking an ADAS Integration Engineer - Active Safety to join our Greensboro, NC team onsite. The role focuses on integration, validation, and launch readiness of ADAS features for North American commercial vehicle platforms.

The ideal candidate will work with software teams, system architects, validation engineers, and vehicle integration teams to troubleshoot and drive rapid issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in automotive embedded systems, vehicle electronics, software integration, system validation, or ADAS development.
• Strong understanding of vehicle communication networks including CAN, Ethernet, LIN, and UDS diagnostics.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration, baseline deployment, and validation activities for ADAS and Active Safety systems.
• Integrate and verify software across multiple ECUs, sensors, cameras, and vehicle variants.
• Perform vehicle-level diagnostics, CAN analysis, and log investigations to identify root causes of system issues.
• Support validation of features such as ACC, AEB, LKA, Lane Centering, and other driver assistance functions.
• Investigate sensor, radar, camera, network communication, and software interaction issues affecting ADAS performance.
• Evaluate the impact of sensor packaging, mounting locations, calibration requirements, environmental influences, and vehicle architecture on system performance.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to resolve software defects, integration issues, and launch blockers.
