Job summary

Catalent is seeking an Accounting Analyst to own end-to-end finance support at our Winchester, KY site. The role covers invoice processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting, with responsibility for SOX controls and coordination with auditors.

The position provides local AR support and involves payroll accruals, headcount reporting, and ERP-based reporting using JD Edwards 9.1. Strong Excel skills and manufacturing accounting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of General Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with accounts payable.
• JD Edwards ERP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end finance support across invoice processing, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
• Provide local support for Accounts Receivable shared services.
• Ensure SOX accuracy and compliance and assist with audits and testing.
• Prepare and distribute daily sales updates based on invoiced activity.
• Produce consolidated headcount reporting for actuals and forecast.
• Balance and process payroll entries including related accruals.
• Develop A/R flash reporting and provide account-level commentary for leadership review.
• Utilize JD Edwards 9.1 for monthly and quarterly reporting.
