Job summary

Luxe Brands is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to the VP, Finance + Accounting, this role supports day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial data across the business.

The ideal candidate will own a broad range of responsibilities from AP/AR to reconciliations, close support, reporting, and vendor management in a small to mid-size company environment. This is an onsite role in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a small to mid-size company environment.
• Experience operating as an accounting generalist with exposure to multiple areas of accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Experience with multi-store retail or apparel industry is a plus.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable execution.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, vendor accounts, and general ledger activity.
• Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and year end close.
• Support journal entries, allocations, account categorizations, and chart of accounts maintenance.
• Provide accounting, finance, or operational support to meet evolving business needs.
• Assist with GAAP compliant accounting practices and audit readiness.
