Job summary

GE Vernova in Pensacola, FL seeks a Manufacturing Specialist - Production Supervision to lead daily shop floor operations for ~44 employees, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery targets. You will coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment, drive improvements, and partner with quality and maintenance teams on a first shift 5:00 AM–3:30 PM CST, onsite at the Pensacola factory.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, practical problem solving, and adherence to processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10–12 years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years in an engineering role.
• Minimum 2–3 years in supervision or leadership.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shop floor activities to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment for efficient workflow.
• Monitor operations and adjust work assignments to maintain productivity.
• Ensure products are manufactured to quality standards and work instructions.
• Provide front-line leadership and safety-focused guidance to employees.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of production staff.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve shop floor performance.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency.
• Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees.
