Job summary

Vertiv Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Production Supervisor for 1st Shift to help manage the production floor and ensure efficient, safe operations. The role includes training staff, inspecting output for conformance, and directing machine setups to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, staffing levels, evaluating personnel, and reporting production metrics. The supervisor will coordinate with engineers and managers to drive continuous improvement and finalize shift

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the production floor and warehouse.
• Staff machines and lines, coordinating staffing as needed.
• Conduct evaluations and mid-term performance assessments.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Communicate process changes to the team.
• Set production quotas and provide feedback on performance.
• Plan work cell tasks and allocate resources.
