Job summary
GE Vernova Gas Power, located in Greenville, SC, seeks an Operations Leader to drive turbine assembly operations, lead hourly production teams, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
You will make critical decisions, coach employees, and push continuous improvement across the cell, including visual management and 5S initiatives, with relocation assistance offered where applicable.
Qualifications
- : Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Assembly
- : 1 year of experience in manufacturing, engineering or assembly
Responsibilities
- Lead production team members to execute daily production plans
- Monitor safety and ensure tools, materials, and equipment are available
- Escalate problems that stop work to enable quick solutions
- Drive performance metrics for safety, quality, materials, fulfillment, productivity, and compliance
- Provide direction for resource planning, scheduling overtime, and cell priorities
- Support continuous improvement projects and 5S/visual management initiatives
- Develop and support growth of all employees
- Ensure adherence to company policies and workplace safety objectives
