Job summary

Worley is seeking an Onshore Pipelines Engineer II in the Denver area to support onshore pipeline projects across North America. You will contribute to design, analysis, and deliverables for crude oil, natural gas, water, hydrogen, and CO pipelines, working with multidisciplinary teams to meet safety and regulatory standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Project Engineers and Managers, delivering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications while advancing pipeline integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another engineering discipline with pipeline experience from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification or PE licensure, or ability to obtain registration.
• Approximately 5-10 years of progressive engineering experience in pipeline and pipeline facility design.
• Experience in a U.S. EPC, consulting engineering, owner, or energy infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, design, and execution of pipeline projects under senior guidance.
• Prepare calculations, analyses, and design documentation for pipeline systems and facilities.
• Perform line sizing, hydraulics evaluations, buoyancy assessments, hydrostatic tests, stress analyses.
• Assist with route development, crossing design, HDD planning, and technical specs.
• Support design of compressor stations, measurement facilities, and valve sites.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams of engineering specialists.
• Develop and review drawings including alignment sheets, HDD plans, plot plans, isometrics, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Apply industry codes, standards, and Worley procedures in project execution.
• Support project planning, scheduling, reporting, and quality management.
