Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer in Denver to join the mechanical pipeline systems team. You will deliver advanced pipe stress analyses, mentor juniors, and support projects across North America from concept through commissioning.

Based in a hybrid work environment, you’ll collaborate with mechanical, piping, civil, and project management teams to ensure safe, code‑compliant infrastructure and successful project execution for energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in pipe stress analysis and mechanical engineering.
• Experience supporting pipeline, oil and gas, energy, industrial, or related EPC projects.
• Advanced proficiency in CAESAR II.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and related piping design and stress analysis standards.
• Experience evaluating vibration-related issues including AIV, FIV, pulsation.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership in pipe stress analysis, piping flexibility assessments, vibration engineering, and mechanical design activities.
• Performing and leading advanced pipe stress analyses and code compliance assessments using CAESAR II.
• Leading multidisciplinary mechanical activities aligning with project objectives, schedules, budgets, and customer requirements.
• Delivering mechanical services meeting safety and quality standards.
• Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
