Oxy in Odessa, Texas is seeking an experienced Production Technician - PFA to oversee oil and gas well operations and field equipment maintenance. You will monitor production, perform testing, and support safe, efficient field activities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting failures, coordinating chemical treatments, and collaborating with WOA & WOS to manage daily well exceptions. A strong focus on safety and data accuracy drives every task.

Formación

• 5+ years oil and gas experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong understanding of surface operations and well troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair failures on well locations.
• Shoot fluid levels on exception wells.
• Check wells after pull for alignment and setup.
• Collaborate with WOA & WOS on daily well exceptions.
• Work with well analyst on test evaluation.
• Coordinate well chemical treatments.
• Provide input for pulling jobs.
• Identify cost drivers and propose improvements.
• Review reports for improvements.
• Participate in pattern reviews.
• Participate in integrated solution team failure meetings.
