Occidental Chemical Corporation (OxyChem) seeks an experienced Production Technician - PFA for Odessa, Texas, in the Onshore Resources & Carbon Management EOR Waterflood Asset. The role focuses on well operations, testing, and data management to maximize production and safety.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, well testing, coordinating chemical treatments, and maintaining accurate records while working with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• 5+ years oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required; some college or tech training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Basic understanding of surface operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot wells (ESP, Beam, etc.).
• Familiarity with LOWIS, EVIN, Graphworx, and related tools.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair well location equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Shoot fluid levels on exception wells and verify alignment.
• Collaborate with teams to address daily well exceptions and tests.
• Coordinate well chemical treatment and cleanup operations.
• Review production and operations reports for optimization opportunities.
