Job summary

Patterson-UTI Drilling Company, LLC is seeking a Drilling Optimization Engineer to drive performance analytics and optimization for on-shore drilling rigs in the United States. You will analyze drilling data, build dashboards, and support field operations while collaborating with local teams, Technology, and Marketing groups.

The role involves field work, stakeholder engagement, and developing actionable recommendations to improve KPI performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Internship or field-based experience.
• Eligible to drive Company or personal vehicle for Company purposes including ability to meet requirements of Company's Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy

Responsibilities

• Interfaces directly with stakeholders to drive performance initiatives for assigned customers.
• Track, analyze, and manage KPI's to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain roadmaps and heatmaps for operational phases.
• Coach and train operations personnel on Patterson PTEN+ portal and other performance tools.
• Analyze large datasets and develop visuals and reports in Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, etc.
