Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or related field.
• Prior internship or field-based experience
• Eligible to drive Company or personal vehicle for Company purposes including ability to meet requirements of Company's Vehicle Use Agreement and Driving Policy

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with stakeholders to drive performance initiatives.
• Track, analyze, and manage KPI's to identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluates drilling performance and creates recommendations to improve KPI's.
• Identifies inefficiencies on the rig site and proposes improvements.
• Develops roadmaps and heatmaps for operational phases.
• Owns performance-improvement plans and drives corrective actions.
• Serves as technical performance advisor to operations and sales.
• Promotes innovation and new technologies of value to the customer.
• Provides training to operations to enhance rig KPI performance.
• Performs root cause analysis for incidents and equipment failures.
• Coordinates with customers for data/report requests.
• Coaches operations on Patterson PTEN+ portal and performance tools.
• Analyzes large datasets and develops visuals/reports in Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI.
• Develops repository of best practices to standardize operations.
• Leads evaluation of rig/equipment monitoring and state detection.
• Defines requirements for visualizations, control apps, portals, and initiatives.
• Diagnoses drilling-performance issues; supports Superintendents.
• Participates in handover meetings with Operations and support groups.
• Collaborates with Business Analytics Managers to share cost data.
