Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions in Cupertino, CA seeks a Battery Thermal Engineer to model thermal performance across products. You will be embedded with the Product Design team from early concept to prototyping, performing advanced Thermal/CFD simulations to understand boundary conditions at cell, pack, and BMS subsystems.

Job description

• Client is looking for Battery Thermal Engineer who will be responsible for Thermal modeling for all products. You will be fully integrated with the Product Design team from the earliest stages, analyzing and informing the design of cutting-edge products. You will also work with cross-functional teams within client to provide design guidance in terms of thermal impact of the product features. Perform advanced Thermal/CFD simulations to evaluate and enhance understanding of the various boundary conditions at the cell, pack, BMS subsystems around battery packs well as in system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS/PhD +3 years industry experience.
• Mechanical engineering background with strong foundation in CFD and thermal modeling.
• Expert level skillset related to Ansys electronic desktop (AEDT) and Icepak in AEDT Python or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity in Cadence Allegro and electronics layout design.
• Familiarity with li-ion cells and battery packs.
